Applies to the EduClickLab website and Android app
You can request the deletion of your EduClickLab account and the personal
information associated with it at any time. This page explains how to make the
request, what is deleted, and what may be retained. You do not need the app
installed to use this page.
How to request deletion
Email
[email protected]
with the subject "Account deletion request", sent from the
email address linked to your account.
Include your full name, your school, and whether you are staff or a student,
so we can verify the account.
We confirm the request and delete the account within 30 days.
You'll receive a confirmation email when it's done.
Students: if your account was created or is managed by your
school, you (or your parent/guardian) can also ask the school directly — the
school can submit the deletion request on your behalf.
What is deleted
Your sign-in account (you will no longer be able to log in).
Your profile information — name, email address, role, school link, and for
students your grade, class and house assignment.
Push notification tokens and notification history for your account.
For staff: signatures, duty roster assignments, invigilation allocations and
any pending swap requests.
For students: reading logs, assessment preferences and personal settings.
What may be retained
Dated school records that merely mention you — for example an attendance
register a teacher signed, house points that were awarded, or an infringement
entry logged by a staff member — form part of the school's own administrative
records. These are retained under the school's authority and retention rules,
not as part of your account. If you would like these reviewed or removed too,
include that in your request and we will coordinate with the school.
Requesting data deletion without deleting the account
If you want specific information corrected or removed while keeping your
account, email the same address and describe what you'd like changed. Partial
deletion requests are handled the same way, within 30 days.
